Description

One Health Day

At its heart, the One Health idea is rooted in the notion that the health of humans, animals, and the environment are all interconnected. At BIO 2017, we feature the One Health concept through stories that illustrate what it is, enabling us to break through the barriers to success.

1:00PM - 2:45PM: Breaking Through Barriers to Advance One Health

BIO kicks off One Health Day with industry and partner leaders introducing the One Health concept through stories that illustrate what it is, how it works, and why it's important.

2:45PM - 4:00PM: One Health Panel Discussion: Solving problems through a collaborative One Health focused approach

After our keynotes introduce the One Health concept, our panelists discuss how to move One Health forward. Join us as we identify some of the barriers to success and what industry and others can do to solve the problems One Health is poised to address.
