The current biotech boom has conceived many innovative therapeutics, but we still lack an effective way to efficiently transport drugs to designated targets. With this increasingly demanding problem, experts have turned to exosomes to change the landscape of how drugs are delivered. Exosomes are naturally produced biologics that act as cell-to-cell messengers and carry proteins, RNA and DNA throughout the body. They look to exploit exosomes’ proprietary delivery properties to enable therapeutics to reach inaccessible tissues such as the brain. This panel will explore the full potential of exosomes, current and future obstacles to overcome and the next steps in this growing space.
