Joe Grzymski is the Co-Director of the Renown Institute for Health Innovation, the Senior Director of the Desert Research Institute's (DRI) Applied Innovation Center and an Associate Research Professor of Microbiology and Computational Biology. He is also Principal Investigator of the Healthy Nevada Project, a population health study with 10,000 participants enrolled in Phase I and currently enrolling an additional 40,000 Nevadans in Phase II. Joe is responsible for developing new applied research initiatives and has helped expand DRI’s expertise and presence in data analysis, statistics, bioinformatics, microbiology and public health. He holds adjunct positions in molecular biosciences and hydrology at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is co-founder of the companies Evozym Biologics, Inc and EMS Genomics, LLC.
