Bill is President of the Project Data Sphere® cancer research platform that was formed by the CEO Roundtable’s Life Sciences Consortium.
He brings a thirty-year career at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where he led Core Business Services. This integrated shared services function within GSK included Information Technology, Accounting Services, Employee Services, Real Estate & Facilities, and Procurement. Bill was also a member of the GSK Executive Management Committee. He held numerous leadership positions in GSK’s Medical Data Sciences, R&D and IT, where he served as Chief Information Officer.
Prior to joining GSK, Bill was Vice President of Global Statistics and Clinical Data Management at Marion Merrell Dow. Previously, he was associate professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Alabama Medical Center.
Bill holds a BS in Biology from William & Mary, an MS and a PhD degree in Statistics from the University of Florida. He has published peer-accepted articles in over 25 professional journals.
