Jonathan Marron, MD, MPH, is a pediatric oncologist, bioethicist, and health services researcher. Dr. Marron’s research examines the intersection of ethics and decision-making in medical practice. Much of his recent work has focused on decision-making regarding genomic sequencing and precision medicine in pediatric oncology. In addition to his clinical role as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital, he also serves as a Clinical Ethicist at Boston Children’s Hospital and sits on the Ethics Advisory Committee at Dana-Farber. Jonathan has written and lectured widely on issues related to bioethics and medical decision-making, and he also teaches two courses in the Harvard Medical School Master’s of Bioethics degree program, “Introduction to Clinical Ethics,” and “Pediatric Bioethics.”
